I have been taking photos as long as I can remember. I remember getting my first 35mm SLR, a Canon FTb. Completely manual. This opened a new world. I could now control what I was capturing.
When digital hit, I just couldn't afford a DSLR, so I went with an Olympus D510 2.1MP. I was pretty impressed with the color quality. Please check out Orange Butterfly.
Prior to going on a Mediterranean Cruise, I updated to a Canon Rbel XT 8 MP DSLR. A vast majority of my photos were taken with this camera and either an 18 - 55mm or 70 - 300mm Canon lens.
In March, 2010, I purchased a Canon 7D and added a 28 - 135mm Canon lens to the arsenal.
